The course of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon is a family course and accessible to all from 10 years old. We take you to discover the famous lavender fields near the Valensole plateau. In order to discover the ancestral culture of the Provençal Lavender.
Equipped with your all-terrain electric scooter we will guide you on one of the mystical Lavender Routes.
Come and admire the exceptional panoramic views from the top of the mountain.
During this walk, we take you to admire the fields of lavender. Their blue, purple & crimson reflections which extend as far as the eye can see. Walk along the Provencal paths, along the cliffs overlooking the lake of Sainte-Croix where you can admire the whole chain of the Pre-Alps, the woods and forests. This place is dominated by the holm oak and the pine of Alep.

You can also visit the distillery in the village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. The
House of lavandin
producer and harvester of lavandin since 1976. This is an opportunity for you to learn about its history. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the cultivation of this flower and its benefits. The team will be delighted to tell you about their profession and their passion through a visit of the establishment. The visit will end with the presentation of all their local products: between essential oils of lavandin, lavender honey, soaps… Almost everything is home-made. The best thing to do is to come and see for yourself!
The Valensole plateaus cover nearly 12,700 hectares. They are known worldwide for the cultivation of lavender but not only! You will also find other emblematic crops such as wheat, which remains the main crop of the department. As well as fields of olive trees, forests of truffle oaks but also almond trees . These trees make the beauty of the landscape during their blooming at the end of the winter.
