Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon
is a family trail accessible to everyone aged 12 and over. We take you to discover the famous lavender fields near the Valensole plateau. Discover the ancestral culture of Provencal lavender.

we will guide you on one of the mystical Lavender Routes.
Come and admire the exceptional panoramic views from the top of the mountain.
During this walk, we take you to admire the fields of lavender. Their blue, purple & crimson reflections which extend as far as the eye can see. Walk along the Provencal paths, along the cliffs overlooking the lake of Sainte-Croix where you can admire the whole chain of the Pre-Alps, the woods and forests. This place is dominated by the holm oak and the pine of Alep.
Come and enjoy this trott’elec ride and learn more about thehistory of the village of Sainte-Croix and its lake. You can come and discover it by yourself or with one of our guides. They know the region and its history inside out!
How does the Sainte-Croix-du-verdon course work?
The half-day itinerary, about 2 hours long:
- Meet your guide at our premises next to the Les Roux campsite.
- Equipment, briefing and handling of the electric scooter are waiting for you before taking off for your excursion.
- You’ll then set off on a fun-filled 1.5-hour walk, accessible to all, where you’ll have the chance to admire the beauty of the scenery overlooking Lac de Sainte-Croix!
- Then return to the room, turn in your equipment and get on with your day!
- You’ll have the chance to visit the“Le Royaume des Lavandes” boutique and meet Stéphane, who will be delighted to tell you all about how his products are made.
